| 1. PURPOSE a. Knight-Fox Challenge was designed primarily to target, evaluate and recruit college-bound leaders who want to pursue a commissioned in the U.S. Armed Forces through ROTC training or an appoint to one of the five U.S. Service Academies. b. The Knight-Fox Challenge is also opportunity for Marion Military Institute to show-case it's nationally recognized Corps of Cadets and unique commissioning programs, i.e., Early Commissioning Program (ECP), and Service Academy Preparation (SAP) program. 2. SPECIFIC EVENT INFROMATION a. Visitors will be housed on campus and consume their meals in the cadet dining facility. Once check-in is complete, visitors will not be allowed to leave campus for any reason without approval of the Commandant. b. Visiting students will be divided into companies 3. SCHEDULED EVENTS a. Drill Down -- White Knights b. Warrior's Challenge Rope Bridge -- Swamp Foxes Cross Country Relay -- Swamp Foxes Rappelling -- Swamp Foxes c. Take Commander's Hill (Paintball) 4. Army ROTC Scholarship Events a. Two-minutes Push-ups b. Two-minutes Sit-ups c. Two-mile run for time. 5. AWARDS (These awards will be presented at the Knight-Fox Banquet. a. Top Ranger Award $500.00 b. Academic Award (ACT Test) $500.00 c. Public Service Award $500.00 d. Leadership Award $500.00 e. All cadets selected to attend Knight-Fox Challenge will receive an minimum $4,000.00 Corps of Cadets Scholarship payable at $2,000 per year. |
